What this is

Every conversion comes down to one thing: does the shopper feel confident enough to act? This is the 45-point framework we audit that confidence with. Use it as a manual checklist, or run the Claude prompt at the end to score your store automatically.

🧠 Why confidence is the real conversion metric

A shopper converts when their confidence clears a bar. Every CRO lever you have ever read about is really an input to that one feeling.

We broke confidence into 5 levers. Each answers a question running in the shopper's head:

When all 5 clear the bar, the shopper buys. When one drags, the sale leaks, and it usually leaks quietly. The Stack gives you 45 specific places to look before you guess.

βœ… How to use this

Two ways to run it.

  1. As a manual audit. Walk your store page by page and score each of the 45 checkpoints.
  2. With Claude. Paste your store URL into the prompt at the end of this doc. Claude scores all 45 for you.

Score each checkpoint 2 (solid), 1 (weak), or 0 (broken or missing). Each lever tops out at 18. Any lever under 12 is where your next test should go.
