Vita Hustle is a supplement DTC brand. Two wins worth $27,791/mo, both landed in the first handful of tests. This is what the opening weeks of a real program put on the board, and every move below is one you can run on your own store this week.

The scoreboard

The two biggest levers on a supplement store are how you treat the buyer who is not ready to subscribe, and what you put above the fold on a product nobody has tasted yet. Both wins came off those two levers, in the first swings.

Win Result Monthly lift
One-time purchase option above the fold CVR +3.04% · RPV +4% $19,026
Testimonials above the fold Profit/visitor +12% · CVR +4% · AOV +3% $8,765
Combined $27,791

Win 1: a one-time purchase option under the add-to-cart button

Your subscription-only page is leaking the buyer who is not ready to commit on visit one. The logic behind subscription-only looks clean: anchor everyone to recurring, protect lifetime value. The hole is that a hesitant first-time buyer has no obvious way to just try it once, so they leave instead of buying at all.

On Vita Hustle we added a "One-Time Purchase" link directly below the primary button, then pulled it above the fold so a hesitant buyer sees it without scrolling.

CVR rose 3.04%. RPV rose 4%. That is $19,026 a month, almost entirely from mobile, where the subscription-only commitment was costing the most conversions.

You grow recurring revenue by capturing the buyer who is not ready for it yet, not by trapping them. A subscription-first page does not have to bury the one-time option to protect subscriptions.

Steal this: if your PDP or landing page sells subscription-first, put a visible one-time purchase option above the fold this week, then watch mobile conversions. The buyer who will not commit to recurring on visit one is leaving with an empty cart right now.

Win 2: testimonials above the fold instead of the product description

For a consumable, what other buyers say does more work above the fold than spec copy ever will. People decide whether they trust the product before they care about the formula.

We took the space normally given to the product description on the PDP and replaced it with three above-the-fold testimonials, each built around a distinct value prop.

Profit per visitor rose 12%. CVR rose 4%. AOV rose 3%. That is $8,765 a month. A testimonial anchored to a specific value prop gets a buyer to trust faster than a paragraph of formula copy, and the next gain sits in testing which value props lead.

Steal this: on your top PDP, pull the product description below the fold and lead with three testimonials, each anchored to a different value prop. For anything people consume, trust beats specs in the first screen.
